I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Special Education. I earned my B.S.W degree from the University Of Southern Mississippi, and PH.D., in Urban & Regional Planning. M.S.W. degree M.S. Edu in Special Education from Jackson State University. I have 20 years of Social Worker experience. My passion is to support, assist and empower individuals to adapt and function in their environment by utilizing community resources.

I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My related interest includes community mental health, chronically ill/disabled individuals, the homeless population, and adolescents & children's behavioral/mental health.

I believe in the dignity and worth of every individual. It is my philosophy that we all deserve the best quality of life possible. We are uniquely designed and have the ability to improve most circumstances that may cause distress or crisis. I also believe that every individual should be valued for their unique qualities.

I believe that self-sufficiency is of the utmost importance to personal development. I implement an array of treatment modalities to include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. No single treatment approach is for everyone.

Therefore, my unique and individualized approach has shown to be effective in improving the well-being and functioning of my clients. If I am not the best fit, l will refer you to a provider who can best assist the client.
