Sometimes the inside doesn’t match the outside. We all have camouflaged our appearances in some form or fashion. This could be by clothing, makeup, or the emotions we present to the world. For a very long time I looked happy and full of life on the outside, but on the inside, I felt dead, worthless and like a failure. These emotions went on for a very long time… probably 8 years. I could not shake the emptiness. I could inspire others for greatness but could not return the favor to myself. I have felt all the emotions of sadness, despair, disappointment, anger, and tearful. Through those experiences, God never left my side and helped me through the darkness back into the light. Joy will cometh in the darkness. Every experience that we have is an opportunity. We must explore the reason for the lessons, so that we can receive the blessings. As time went by I had to figure out what was bothering me and do something about it because I could only use a filter for so long.
Isaiah 41:10-13 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
